Bring It On Filming Locations

The Strand Pier Plaza in Oceanside The Marlin Club of San Diego California

The Movie Bring It On was filmed on locations throughout San Diego county.

Most Rancho Carne high school exterior shots were filmed at the main campus of SDSU San Diego State University. Carne means meat in Spanish.

The Rancho Carne gymnasium scenes were filmed at Academy of Our Lady of Peace.

The Rancho Carne football scenes were filmed at Eastlake High School.

The Clover's East Compton High School was Kearny High School.

The car wash scene was filmed at The Marlin Club. The Marlin Club is a "certified marlin and fish weigh station", so if you go there you will definitely see boats and maybe fish. It's pretty unlikely that cheerleaders in bikinis will be washing cars there.

The Cheerleading Semi-Finals were filmed at the old Alliant International University campus.

Datona's TIKI Adventure Suites scenes were filmed at Humphrey's Half Moon Inn and Suites.

The Cheerleading Finals were filmed at the The Strand Pier Plaza in Oceanside. The Strand Pier Plaza is right next to the Oceanside Pier.

Bring It On was released in 2000, was directed by Peyton Reed, and starred Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford, and Gabrielle Union. You can hear more about some of these filming locations by listening to Director Peyton Reed's commentary track on the DVD of Bring it On.
