Torrey Pines State Beach and Reserve is a beautiful State park with several miles of beaches and hiking or walking trails on the cliffs above.
The Beach at Torrey Pines stretches beautifully below the cliffs. The beach runs from
Black's Beach north to Del Mar City Beach.
On the cliffs above the beach are several wonderful hiking trails where you can see for miles out over the Pacific Ocean. There is also a Visitor Center where you can learn more about the natural history of the park.
There are life guards at the park, along with several rest rooms and outdoor showers.
There two good parking lots at Torrey Pines. One is on North Torrey Pines Road south of Carmel Valley Road. The other, which is the bigger of the two, is on Carmel Valley Road at Del Mar Scenic Parkway. Both lots charge for parking. There is also some street parking along North Torrey Pines Road and Carmel Valley Road.
