I wanted to let you know about an exciting new restaurant and lounge in East Downtown called The Guild. I've attached our press kit and would like to tell you a little bit about the restaurant so you can add this great new dining destination to your online restaurant guide.
The restaurant just celebrated its grand opening this past weekend and so far we have had an excellent response. Guests have been especially intrigued by the restaurant?s unique approach to melding design, architecture, art and food into one environment and experience.
This creative combination can be seen in every aspect of the restaurant ? even in what the food is served on. For example our Executive Chef Melissa Mayer works closely with co-owner, Paul Basile of Basile Studio, to create unique serving dishes for her equally unique culinary creations. I?ve attached a photo of one of the dishes Paul fabricated for Chef Mayer?s delicious mahi tacos. These would be great items to feature in your online Guide to San Diego as your audience is presumably one that appreciates being the 'first to know' about a great new hidden gem like The Guild!
Paul is a very well known designer in San Diego . His projects include a four story architectural sculpture for the University of California Irvine , the architectural dome for Hotel Solamar and custom furnishings for the new expansion of the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego Downtown . Chef Mayer is full of spunk and has the soul of a true artist. She infuses everything she does with her endless creativity and, as a result, produces wonderful culinary delights in an extraordinary presentation. |
