The Beach at Ocean Beach

The Beach at Ocean Beach stretches for about two miles along the western end of Ocean Beach, from the Ocean Beach Municipal Pier to where the San Diego River flows into the Pacific Ocean.

The Dog Beach at Ocean Beach is at the northern end of the beach.

Facilities include lifeguard buildings and towers, outdoor showers, restrooms, barbecue pits, and a grassy park. Towards the northern end of the beach, between the beach and the parking lot, there are volleyball courts.

There is a larger public parking lot along Spray St, and smaller ones at the western ends of Niagra Ave and Santa Monica Ave.
