Old Town

Old Town is near the site of San Diego and California's first Spanish settlement in 1769. Today Old Town is home to a State Historic Park as well as many fine Mexican restaurants, hotels, and souvenir shops. There are so many fine Mexican restaurants in Old Town that locals in San Diego really do come here to eat.
