MyNetworkTv Telenovelas Filming Locations

Launched in September of 2006, MyNetworkTv showed "telenovelas", which ran an episode each weeknight with a weekly summary show on Saturday night. Each telenovela had it's own story line, ran for about 6 weeks, and then was replaced by a new telenovela. The Telenovelas stopped filimg and airing in the Spring of 2007.

From early September to early December 2006 the shows were Desire and Fashion House. From December 2006 to March 2007 the shows were Watch Over Me and Wicked Wicked Games. In March 2007 A Dangerous Love and Rules of Deception were aired.

These shows were produced in San Diego by Stu Segall Studios and Gone Fission, Inc. at a reportedly very modest cost.

Some locations used for the shows included Balboa Park, including Morley Field.

Fashion House used the architecturally famous Cable Building in Hillcrest as the exterior for one character's apartment.

Wicked Wicked Games showed the Del Mar Racetrack as one of it's primary settings, and used the Windansea Beach as a surfer beach.
