Boll Weevil on Broadway Chula Vista is still open, although it is renamed to BullsEye, and you have to ask for the special sauce, it's not on the tray. Same good burgers, same good beer, same good people!

I was able to go to a bollweevil in most of all the cities in san diego...now i have no clue on where there is one that is open...my favoriteone was the one in national city... That closed down some time ago...

I have a friend that lives in La Mesa that wanted to take me to Boll Weevil for the famous burger & now that may be impossible & I
will never experience the supposedly best burger in the world! Getting rid of Julieta may have been the death note for Boll Weevil as every one of the people that have experienced the Boll Weevil burger have also experienced Julieta and want both. It also seems like the Boll Weevil chain management could care less
about the Customers or Julieta because nobody says they like the current management or even if management exists now.

So you can add the Morena Blvd UC on Govener dr and Kerney Mesa stores to the list... what a shame this was the only decent hamburger in SD ok maybe Hodads is better but you can get a seat and park at the BW. its been sad to watch this icon slowly disappear. As much as I want to believe that one person leaving is the reason... there has to be other reasons...

I am so unhappy that our Escondido restraunt and now the San Marcos one is closed. Those hamburgers were a treat to me. The best burger I ever ate. Don't know where I will get a decent burger now. May try MiraMar.

San Marcos location is out of everything all the time. No cherry for cherry cokes, no whipped cream for milkshakes, no crackers for chilli, and much more. The food is good, but the manager is non-existant. She is never there and will not even cross the street to get crackers, whipped cream, or cherry favoring for weeks at a time, and people bring their own if they want to enhance their meals.

Just want to say your company really screwed up by letting Julieta go after many years of great service and dication to Boll Weevil...every store she managed and there we're a few,she turned it into your cash cow and you know it!.
She has done many things a typical manager/person would do to keep her/your store running and stocked and out of her own pocket,wear and tear on her own car,and this is the way you thank her by terminating her employment...NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!!
I know many people and have several avenue's to notify the public about your action's and the way you run this long time eatry in San Diego.
Good Luck with what's left of this San Diego icon,you have trully run it to the ground and may karma bite each and everyone of you who did this Julieta in your behind,because you all deserve it.
This has only begun!!!!!
